Good news for underage drinkers, students and derelicts

According to researchers at Glasgow University, drinking cider has marked health benefits. Nevertheless, I'm sticking to ale, red wine and scotch.

I absolutely love Adnam's still cider, it is far superior to the gassy varieties and you can taste the apples. Best served chilled it that lovely hotel on Southwold's market place. Is it the White Swan?

In this country westons is best, in my opinion. It comes in a jug and is cloudy and dry , a little like Unpasteurised Normandy cider, which is even better, it comes with "bits".
While hitchhiking through Northern France many years ago I was assured by an Australian EU translator that if you got pissed on it 30 days in a row (not so unusual) your liver would be permanently damaged

The proper stuff is lovely. The ex wife's father made his own stuff, and it was divine. Probably still is, but I don't suppose I'll be drinking it again any time soon.

I always found that drinking Cider led to vomiting, although that could just be the quantity.
