Why Croydonian? Well, I live here, and have long been a fan of defending the apparently undefendable. Meanwhile, props to Islingtonian from whom I stole the -ian suffix. Rather chic, I think.

Oh yes, and in much the same way that Milton Friedman once declared that Sir Alan Walters spoke for him on this side of the Atlantic, it is Lombard Street to a rotten orange that whatever Polly Toynbee thinks, I think otherwise.

Quite impressive that I'm racking up all these profile views. Doubtless all down to my making a nuisance of myself over at order-order.com.

Anyway, for those who want to short circuit matters and discover my agenda:

I am a somewhat reluctant large 'C' Conservative who would far prefer a /successful/ political party that combined economic with social liberalism. Much like the Libertarians in the US. If they ever won offices more important than municipal dog catcher to the city of Smallville.

Otherwise, I am broadly Atlanticist, deeply Eurosceptic, a conviction Zionist and in favour of international recognition for Artsakh as being a legitimate part of Armenia.
